During the 2002 campaign season, 10 local television newsrooms in different markets participated in an on-air and online news coverage research project. Working with RTNDF and the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania, these stations provided unique broadcast and Internet coverage of candidates, campaigns and other election issues. This report examines how these new cross-media techniques affected both the audience and the newsrooms. [2003]
