announced today that Mauro Dresti has joined the company as Vice President of
Product Management.
Dresti brings more
than 20 years of experience in high technology development, introduction and
management for Fortune 500 and other publicly traded companies. He reports
directly to Fred Fourcher, President and CEO of Bitcentral, and will manage the
company's flagship Precis and Oasis digital broadcast newsroom solutions. In
addition, Dresti will manage vendor and partner relationships; coordinate
pertinent internal support functions, including development, customer support
and sales; as well as direct Bitcentral's product information development and
dissemination.

Previously, Mr. Dresti
made an impact at Cisco-Linksys, Inc., where he was responsible for emerging
technologies and bringing to market a network-area-storage (NAS) device. Prior
to Cisco-Linksys, Dresti was in charge of launching the award-winning NEVO
wireless remote from concept to market at Universal Electronics, Inc. Earlier in
his career, Dresti helped develop vehicle charging technologies at Southern
California Edison Co., working alongside major automakers. He also holds a
number of technology patents.
