Why You Should Start/Become a Member of an RTNDA Student Chapter

 The Radio-Television News Directors Association has student chapters at 41 colleges and universities. Founded in 1987, RTNDA's Student Chapter Affiliate Program fosters closer cooperation and improves communication among students, educators and working professionals in radio, television and online news. It also gives student members special learning opportunities both in and out of the classroom and instills a commitment to the highest ideals and principles of the practice of electronic journalism.

Student Chapter Guidelines

The RTNDA board of directors may recognize as student chapters groups of students at universities and colleges offering instruction in radio and television journalism, provided such groups adopt bylaws that the board determines will promote RTNDA's purposes and are consistent with RTNDA's bylaws. The board of directors will consider affiliation requests.
